TechMystery is a web portal which allows users to share their interesting and entertaining mishaps with technology. These shared stories are labeled as "Mysteries" in the TechMystery community. The following is the privacy policy of Digital X for Techmystery.com.
Your Personal Information
- Your Account. An account with Tech Mystery is required for certain activities on TechMystery.com, which may include, but are not limited to: posting comments and submitting (sharing) your stories with us and the Tech Mystery community. Upon registration you will be asked for some personal information. This information will be your email address and a password. This is done as a protective measure on your behalf. If you have a TechMystery account, you may update or correct your personal profile information, email preferences, and password. You may also view Mysteries and comments you have posted, and favorite stories you have selected.
- Information Gathering. Digital X will record certain information based on your usage of TechMystery. This information may be as such: Frequency of visits you've made, number of web site pages you have viewed, and frequency of comments you have posted. Personal information that you submit may be used to operate, maintain, and improve features and functionality of TechMystery. TechMystery uses cookies and log file information. We do this in order to, store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your next visit to TechMystery, monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and pages viewed, and track your entries, submissions, and status in promotions, sweepstakes, and contests.

- Account information. When you create a TechMystery account, some information about your TechMystery account and your account activity will be provided to other users of TechMystery. This may include, The date you created your TechMystery account, the date you last logged into your account, your age and gender (if you choose to make it public), and your country of residence.
- Your TechMystery account name, not your email address, is displayed to other users when you engage in certain activities on TechMystery, this may include but is not limited to: When you post a Mystery or commenting on a Mystery. Other users can contact you by leaving a message or comment on TechMystery.
- Any Mysteries you may submit to TechMystery may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels and may be viewed by other TechMystery users or general public.
